Student Workers Needed
Story Posted: Mon, Aug 27, 2007
The O.H. Hinsdale Wave Research Laboratory is one of the largest and most technically advanced centers for coastal engineering and nearshore scientific research in the world. We have several part-time openings for OSU students to work this year, starting Sept. 24th. You will be asked to assist with a variety of projects related to coastal engineering and tsunamis.
We seek dedicated workers who don't mind getting their hands dirty and can work in a high-intensity collaborative research environment with many other students, staff, and faculty. Experience with construction work and heavy equipment (forklifts, bobcats) would be preferred.
Hourly wage is $10.50/hr. We expect consistent attendance for 4-hour morning or afternoon shifts, and we will work with your schedule to identify the best slots for you. Application deadline is Sept. 12th, 2007. Please email a resume and cover letter along with when you would be available to work to Tim Maddux (tbmaddux@engr.orst.edu).
