Continuing Enrollment

When graduate students schedule an oral preliminary examination or final examination, the Graduate School staff will remind them of the requirement to register for a minimum of three credits. However, because graduate students are not required to schedule program planning meetings with the Graduate School, they may not be warned in advance that they are required to register for a minimum of three credits, even if their only use of university resources is a program planning meeting. If students are not prepared to register for three credits, they should delay this meeting until the next term in which they register.
