Interests and Research:
Professor Sollitt's interests include wave-structure-foundation interaction; breakwater behavior; directional wave spectrum analysis; and offshore wave-current measurement systems. Current projects deal with ocean outfalls and breakwater stability.

Teaching:
Professor Sollitt's interests include hydraulic engineering analysis of pipe systems, pumps and turbines, open channel flow; ocean wave mechanics; at-sea measurement of waves and currents; laboratory physical modeling techniques for wave and current phenomena.
